Intramural Sports

So last night I went to our intramural indoor soccer game at the Hyper building at 9:30. The Hyper has a gym and Racquetball Courts, Basketball Courts, Gymnastics, a Pool and tons of other stuff. Now let me tell you a little something about Trevor Brimley... He is pretty alright at soccer in general but if you need to humble him quick just put him in as goaly. I got my trash handed to me, the first 4 minutes they scored 4 points on me. What a dark moment in my life, sorry team but thank you you T-Park and Dangerfield, you two are lifesavers! After I got out of goal we did pretty good, INTRAMURALS are the BEST!! But don't be fooled by our performance last night, that is a intramural champion T-shirt from outdoor soccer last semester, we're coming back so watch out for us. The best thing about intramurals is that it doesn't cost hardly anything to play a season, it's like 4 or 5 bucks a person. After the game a few of us went over to the local church and played a pick-up game for a little while. There is ALWAYS something fun going on at Utah State.

The Hockey game last night was awesome! I've never been to a USU hockey game before, I don't think I've ever been to a hockey game at all actually. The Aggies won 11-1 against Boise State. After the game I was super excited to go and see"Where the wild things are" , Would not recommend anybody paying full price to see that flick. It was alright... Just wait till you see what the bird says when his arm gets ripped off, that was hilarious! But really I guess I had high expectations and was just a little let down. Plus we saw it at midnight so maybe I just wanted to be home sleeping, I dunno.

Just got back from Lake Powell last night, Best trip ever!! The water was smooth as glass all day long and no boats around us the whole trip. I'm not gonna lie, I definitely let my team down in the Lake Powell X Games this year with my failure to hold onto the roap in the double ski race and passing the baton? whatever that word is, I don't know, but I'm pretty sure my purple speedo was a hit and made up for some of my short comings. Ps. thanks for the T-shirt Sam and the flank steak Jon and Jane. The drive may or may not have been a little long last night especially after having to drop a few buddies off in Provo. That place gives me the willies every time that I'm there. But all in all that was awesome and fall break is the best Lake Powell trip for sure.
